Gretchen Reuning
|
Gretchen joined the FCCD team as their Forest Program Director in April, 2017. Prior to joining the FCCD team, she has worked in natural resource management and forestry in Colorado, Illinois, California, and New Zealand. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Biology from Principia College and a M.S. in Horticulture/Plant Ecophysiology from Colorado State University.
Gretchen is passionate about restoring Colorado's forests, and in the three years that she's been with FCCD, has implemented over 2,000 acres of treatment across Larimer County. When she's not working, Gretchen loves to garden, mountain bike, cook, and play with her dogs. |
Dylan Alsbach

Dylan joined FCCD in August of 2020. Before coming to Fort Collins, Dylan was a Forestry Specialist for the state of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources and specialized in the Good Neighbor Authority Act, working alongside the US Forest Service. He has worked in forestry and plant monitoring in California, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He earned a B.S. in Forestry and Ecological Restoration from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point.
Dylan hit the ground running and has already assisted in setting up and overseeing several active projects. He is very enthusiastic about restoring our forests on the front range and hopes to bring an enhanced perspective to the work. When he’s not working, Dylan is most likely mountain biking, spending time with his dog, or busy with his nose in a book. |

Sarah Turner

Sarah joined the FCCD team in late 2019. Sarah is a fourth-generation Colorado native growing up only miles from where her family homesteaded for many generations. Sarah grew up on a farm and participated in 4H for several years.
Sarah's professional career is a reflection of her passion for education. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught for many years. She has also mentored college students and was involved in various community outreach programs and event planning. |
Meet Our Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors makes important decisions about the conservation needs in the district, including hiring staff to address resource concerns, managing district finances, and ensuring that conservation efforts are successful and effective. The board is made up of landowners within the Conservation District boundaries who have a vested interest in conserving the resources within our district.
